WIW: Blogger Bash

by Megan

On Saturday night, I headed into Phoenix to attend the Fall-i-day Blogger Bash at the Songbird Coffee & Tea House. I decided to do a last-minute WIW post, so warning: grainy photos ahead!

Last month, I won a giveaway at roro-n-gigi, and I got this adorable Peter Pan collar from her shop.

It sat on my dresser for a few weeks because I couldn’t think of what to pair it with. Then I ordered this sweater from Old Navy, and it was a match made in heaven!

I’m usually a t-shirt-and-jeans kind of gal, not overly trendy, but I loved this look. I got lots of compliments at the event, and people wanted to know if the collar was part of the sweater. When they found out it wasn’t, they loved it even more!

The event was held in downtown Phoenix, at the cutest little coffee shop.

They had gift bags for us with items from Crystal Faye, Kiki La Rue, and Pearls N Stitches. And I won a cute blogging notepad!

I loved this event because I was able to bring together a bunch of bloggers that I had met individually, but who hadn’t yet met one another. A lot of us are in a Facebook group together, but several hadn’t met yet.

By the end of the night, we were all friends!

We snagged this awesome photo of the Blogging Besties!

Then our little get-together got crashed by a random parade…

Thanks to Aubrey and Crystal for a fun time, and thanks again to Aurora for my awesome collar!

It was a fun event and I can’t wait to see if we end up doing quarterly meetings.

Ooh, I think we should do quarterly meetings! Maybe they could be like mini conferences where someone teaches something each time. Hmm…now the wheels are turning…
