Last night I left the kids with my husband, picked up one of my best blog friends, and headed for the nearest Panera Bread. Our goal: eat delicious food and talk about blogging. I have been compensated by Ignite Social Media to participate in this social experience, however the views and opinions are my own.
“Eat delicious food and talk about blogging” is basically what I want to do all day, every day. I’m not sure which I was more excited about, but as soon as we entered Panera, the thought of blogging left my mind. Rows of delicious bakery items and signs that promised tasty soups and sandwiches took all of my attention!
Then we overheard that the bakery items were all on sale for 99 cents each! Tausha wanted 39 snickerdoodles, but I talked her out of it. Oh, actually that may have been the other way around, but…moving on!
Tausha recommended the Broccoli Cheddar Bread Bowl, which we then both ordered.
We grabbed a cute little booth in a corner and tried to talk about blogging in between bites. I recently did Tausha’s transfer from Blogger to WordPress, so I was answering some questions for her about technical blogging things. We probably confused the people around us with terms like “structured data testing tool” and “image optimizing plugins.” Seriously, I live for this stuff. Need technical blog work done? Shoot me an email! #blognerd
Panera was the perfect place for a blog chat because of the free wi-fi and coffee house-esque atmosphere. Once we had eaten, we moved to a larger table, set up our laptops, and got to work.
Before we knew it, we had been there for well over an hour, and we both could have stayed much longer, enjoying the food, the company, and talking about all of the blogging things on our list! But all good things must come to an end, so we grabbed a few sweets for our husbands and headed out.
Aha, but we still had the ride back! There were no pauses in our conversation as we packed as much blog talk into 30 minutes as possible! Then we decided we’d have to get together again soon, preferably at Panera, where we could enjoy more bread bowls!

Your blog doesn’t say WHERE Panara is located. I had to google it! If anyone is wondering, they are at Central & Thomas in Phoenix, with a second location in Chandler. Man this place looks so yummy!!!

Wish we had Panera here in St George! I’d love to work with them! Perfect place for blogging dates and even an event! I might have to head to Vegas, because that bread bowl is calling my name!
