My Hare-Bear

I know a little guy who just turned 6 months old, and it’s THIS GUY:

My Hare Bear

Oh, my Harry. I am so in love with him. He is just the sweetest baby.

The first 6 months just flew by, and I can’t believe he will turn one this year!

Harrison is finally sleeping through the night reliably, in his crib. He was sleeping through the night in his bassinet, but once we moved him to his crib in his own room, he started waking up and nursing once or twice a night. A few weeks ago he stopped waking up in the middle of the night but sometimes nursed as early as 5am, but then went back to sleep for another hour or two. Now he generally sleeps from approximately 7pm to 7am. What a good baby.

My Hare Bear

He is eating all kinds of baby foods now- rice cereal and all the stage one fruits and vegetables. He eats a fruit and a vegetable (or one of those and cereal) twice a day, and I think we’re about to add in a third meal. He’s a hungry dude.

He’s also a mobile dude! He can roll both ways, turn in a 360 circle, and scoot himself backward, so he can pretty much go all over the living room! He just started getting up on his hands and knees and rocking back and forth, so crawling is just days away.

No teeth yet, but he sucks on his hands a lot, and I’m sure they will show themselves soon!

Harry is such a cuddle monkey! He LOVES to be held. He’ll spend some time every day playing on the floor with his toys and bouncing in his activity bouncer, but most of the time he wants to be with Mom (or Gramma on the days we are at her house)!

He’s just so cool! I didn’t think I would be in awe of a baby the third time around, but it’s like everything is brand new all over again. He’s just this awesome little person, and I can’t get enough of him. I do enjoy nap time, but if it goes extra long, I start to miss him!

I just live for those big gummy smiles, the sparkle in his eyes, and the giggles, oh the giggles!

My Hare Bear

Harry, you make me want to have more babies! But you’re enough for now! La la la love you!

Omigosh those little cheeks are good enough to eat! I wish my little guy would sleep that well! He’s 11 months and still wakes twice a night to nurse. Could be worse though!
