Handmade Frozen Dress

by Megan

Vanessa and I recently had a “girls’ day,” and we started it off with a little surprise. It was this gorgeous, handmade Anna Frozen dress from Nana’s Sewing Closet! If you have little girls princesses, you’ll want to read on for a little surprise of your own!

I recently won an Etsy gift card, and my first stop was Nana’s Sewing Closet. The shop features handmade princess dresses by my friend Leslie‘s mom (Nana to Leslie’s super cute daughter, Violet). These dresses are not only handmade, sized to your choice, and absolutely gorgeous, but they are princess-inspired dresses.

In other words, these dresses look just like the dresses that your daughter’s favorite Disney princesses wear, but they are made in a way that your daughter can wear them anywhere and not look like she is wearing a gaudy costume. They can also take a bit more “adventure” than some of the cheap alternatives.

For example, in this photo Vanessa is pretending to be a pirate, as in (deep voice) “Pirates don’t get pictures taken!”

From the first time I saw Nana’s shop, I knew I’d be getting Vanessa a dress at some point, and that point came when Vanessa became obsessed with Frozen. Just check out her reaction when I surprised her with her Anna dress!

I put her hair in braids like Anna, and then told her to close her eyes. She was so excited when she saw her Anna dress! We had to grab Olaf and Sven for some photos!

Back in March we got to meet Anna at Disneyland, and when she saw Sven, she showed Vanessa how she could have reindeer antlers too!

So of course Vanessa had to do the same!

If you’ve made it this far without clicking over to check out the dresses, do it now! I especially love the Snow White dress.

If you’re looking for a high-quality, affordable princess dress for your little one, this is definitely the place to be! Today one of my readers is going to win a 50% off coupon for Nana’s Sewing Closet, good on any one dress!

This is a great opportunity to get a dress to put away for Christmas or your daughter’s birthday, or just for a fun surprise! Bookmark this post so you can come back and enter every day, and bookmark Nana’s Sewing Closet, so you can visit again for all your princess dress needs!

I like the Custom Handmade Young Anna Inspired Dress best. The Olaf dress and the Anna dress in your review are great too.

SO daring!!!! I love fun little Etsy shops like this. If I won, I’d have to pick either the Elsa dress or Tinkerbell. Presley loves both – what a perfect Halloween idea!

Crossing fingers!

I LOVE Nana’s dresses. My daughter has a Anna dress, the Wendy dress, a Anatasia dress and the new Cinderella pheasant dress. They are all well made and super cute!!
