That's my Gramma and me, when I was two. It's amazing how much Vanessa looks like me:
Vanessa also reminds me of my Gramma, with some of the facial expressions she makes! I miss my Gramma, and I wish she could have been around long enough to meet my kids. I know she and "Papa" would have LOVED these little ones.
We even gave Vanessa the middle name of Sandra, after my grandmother. She was definitely someone special to me. I even included this same photo in a blog post back in 2009, with some song lyrics that made me think of her.
Anyway, today I'm asking for a favor! Would you please vote for my photo in the contest?! There are only ten finalists, and one of us is going to win a Canon EOS Rebel T4i! That would go a long way in getting some higher quality photos up on this here blog!!

Awh how sweet. I love looking back at pictures of me at young ages. My toddler looks very much like me also, so its fun to compare features! What a great picture. I voted!
